David Joyner

I'm a first year student (1L) at Campbell University's law school in Raleigh, NC. I am also an avid runner and I'm a member of two different run clubs in Raleigh. Running is a big part of how I manage the stress of being a 1L, so I'm running the North Carolina Bar Association's Young Lawyers' Division's Ugly Sweater Holiday 5K the weekend after my exams end to celebrate finishing my first semester.

The race is raising money for the NC Bar Association's Lawyers for Entrepreneurs Assistance Program (NC LEAP). The program provides pro bono legal services to entrepreneurs and inventors in the state who are low-income and could not otherwise afford much needed counsel to launch their work and build a stronger economy for North Carolina.
